Michael Forker got the Mus tangs off to a good start by scoring in the first period on a power play goal and bringing his total goals for the season up to 10. The Enforcers quickly responded with a second period power play goal scored by James Dorlando, which was assisted by Cooper Levy, bringing Dorlandos season goals up to 10 as well. Ethan Levinsohn retaliated with a goal of his own in the second period to keep the Mustangs within reach of victory. However, Dorlando came back in the third and cemented his place as leader of his team with another power play goal, taking his total goals for this game to 11.
