Long Beach Lightning defeated Woodbridge Wolfpack in a thrilling match, courtesy of great team play and individual performances.
Aiden Moreira op ened up the scoring for the Wolfpack in the first period, assisted by Matthew Barton and Thomas Conti. The Lightning then took control from the second period onward, with a powerplay goal by Joseph Feerick assisted by Caleb Kallelis and another goal from Timothy Osullivan. The highlight of the game was Kallelis assist on Osullivans goal; this turned out to be the Game Winning Goal which secured the victory for Long Beach. In the second period, Feerick scored again, this time unassisted while Joshua OGrady and Anthony Scarcella completed the scoring with respective goals.
In summary, it was a fantastic performance from Long Beach Lightning as they sealed an impressive victory with a scoreline of 5-1.
