Jersey Wolves Win in Overtime

The Jersey Wolves and Cutting Edge King Cobras faced off in an exciting hockey game last night. Both teams were neck and neck throughout the game, with the Wolfs leading by one at the end of the third period. The Wolfs ended up taking home the victory in overtime, with Michael Vergona scoring the game-winning goal. Stephanie Witmer and Jacob Jastrzab both put up goals for the King Cobras in the first period. Grayson Aronoff joined them later in the period with an assisted shot from Cooper Cunningham. Noah Andrukonis added to the Wolfs score in the second period, followed by a score from Marco Pizzariello which was assisted by Austin Marion. Iain Thomas scored for Cuttting Edge King Cobras during third period, but it wasnt enough to take home a win. The game ended with Vergonas goal making it 4-3 for Jersey Wolves at regulation time, with this being their first win of season!
