The Genesis Hockey Club came out victorious in their match up against the Red Bank Generals after a thrilling 3-2 victory. The match saw the Genera ls score first, with Griffin Koske netting his first goal of the season in the 1st period.
In the 2nd period, Sean Cutter opened the scoring for Genesis with a powerplay goal and was soon followed by an equalizer from Anthony Matrone of the Generals. Zane Sanders then scored what turned out to be the game winning goal, giving Genesis a 2-1 lead. Richard Kissell then scored an insurance goal shortly before time expired to give Genesis a 3-2 victory.
It was an impressive performance by both teams, with Sanders game winning goal proving to be decisive in the end.
