Ethan Shek-Doona Leads Pelham Youth Hockey to Victory

Ethan Shek-Doona and his Pelham Youth Hockey squad took the ice in high spirits Wednesday night, looking to triumph against the Princeton Youth (Ro ok) 12U Silver 2 team. After a scoreless first period, Taner Yigiter put Pelham on the board at 02:05:47 with a wrist shot that was assisted by Ethan Shek-Doona. But Princeton fought back shortly thereafter; Pia Singh evened the score back up at 02:09:14 after taking advantage of an opportunity created by Milo Budnik. With the game seemingly headed to overtime, Shek-Doona secured the victory with a shorthanded goal in the dying minutes of period 3. Assisted by Matthew Fezza and Ethan Murphy, shek-Doona hit a laser from the point that rippled through the netting with just 05:01 left on the clock. Pelham hangs on for a narrow victory and will look to continue their success in their next matchup of the season.
