The Delco Phantoms saw a four-goal effort in their game against their opponents, winning the game 4-3. Despite trailing 1-0 after the first period, the Phantoms hung tough and maintained their composure to push through with a victory.
Thanks to a trio of multi-point games, the Delco Phantoms finally used an offensive surge to gain control of the game in the second period. Liam Bouchard cut their opponents lead in half shortly into the second period with his sixth goal of the season and sixth point of the night with assists from Carlo Bene and Joey Difabritiis.
Nolan Stott added his seventh goal of the season 41 seconds after Bouchards first goal to tie up the game. Carter Short scored a shorthanded goal next before Nate Ponden rounded out the scoring at 2:24 into the second period.
Ultimately, it was Liam Bouchards seventh goal that put the game away for good as it was deemed to be the Game Winning Goal (GWG). Thanks to him and his teams hard work, they were able to secure a win and give themselves some breathing room in their standings.
