Darien Youth Hockey took a 5-1 victory over North Park on Saturday afternoon. The game was intense throughout, with 3 goals coming in the third per iod alone!
Cole Fiordalis opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal at 01:06:43 in the first period. Carmine Bongiorni followed up with a goal assisted by Tomas Herbert and Antoine Devillers that would serve as the game winner. Tomas Herbert added on a goal of his own and Archer Maclear lit up the lamp to make it 4-0 Darien.
Leighton Vargas scored the lone goal for North Park late in the third to make the final score 5-1. It was an impressive performance from Darien Youth hockey and a great way to cap off the weekend!
