The Capitals Academy pulled off a victory thanks to an electric second period. Owens Covington scored at the 02:12:16 mark, with an assist from AJ VanHaaren. But it was Fletcher Blacks goal at 02:00:21 that was the game-winning goal and ultimately sealed the win for the Capitals. Blacks goal, his sixth of the game, was unassisted but no less impressive. With this incredible victory under their belt, the Caps have plenty of momentum to carry into their next match-up!
