Blackhawks Claw Out Win Over Stars

The New York Stars put up a fight, but the Toms River Blackhawks scratched and clawed their way to a 5-4 victory Wednesday night. After Trayson DeM arco opened the scoring for the Blackhawks in period one, the two teams traded goals back and forth for the next two and a half periods. Connor Quigley contributed to the win with two goals of his own and was assisted on one goal by Mason Cohen and Hunter Malone in period two. Thomas Ludovico chipped in with an assist as well. Meanwhile, Connor Anderson scored late to pull within one goal but the revival ended there as Michael Carlson, Rex Duggan, and Tymoteusz Pac aided Duggan in putting in two more goals for a 5-4 final score.
