Baltimore Stars Beat Loudoun Knights

The Baltimore Stars were victorious in their hockey game against the Loudoun Knights on Friday night. Timothy Swearingen opened the scoring for the Knights when he scored on a power play at 1:03:58 in the first period. Just five minutes later, Rex Taylor put another goal up for the Knights to put them up 2-0. Jesse D’Alonzo and Jimmy Albanesi both scored towards the end of the first period for the Stars to tie it up, 2-2.

In the second period, Jesse D’Alonzo lead a three-goal comeback effort for Baltimore when he scored twice, with an assist from Brendan Townsend on his first goal. Later in the period, Luke Held and Townsend both assisted inside forward Reilly Spielmans goal to give them a 5-2 lead that they would keep through the remainder of the game to secure their victory.
