The Atlantic City Sharks defeated the New York Stars in a nail-biting match with the game-winning goal from Patrick Mc Cline. Ryan Jollon opened sc oring for the Stars in the opening period, assisted by Scotty Corcoran and Dante Divita. The Sharks stayed in it after James Goldsmith scored, assisted by Vincenzo Bengardino. Things heated up when Vinny Parente scored on a power play goal for the Stars, assisted by Matthew Almeida.
With their backs against the wall, Patrick Mc Cline rocketed a shot past New Yorks goalie to bring the score to 4-3 and give his team the win. He was later assisted on another goal by Rick Sandman to make it 5-3 and secure victory for Atlantic City. Aidan Kane capped off the victory with his goal late in period 2 as time ran out on New Yorks chances of a comeback.
