'Genesis Hockey Club Grabs Game Winning Goal in Thrilling Match'

In an exciting game of hockey, Genesis Hockey Club claimed victory off of a shorthanded goal by Caden ONeill with just 16 seconds left to play in t he first period. Blake Simonson had the assist who, in total, scored two goals and an assist for the evening. James Ebert opened the scoring for Genesis and added an assist in their 6-1 victory against Flyers Youth. David Mogell and Jyson Luciano scored for Flyers but it was not enough to overcome Genesis strong offensive performance. Ryan Mikulich also contributed with two total goals and an assist. Despite the loss, a strong showing from Aidan Dickman earned him an assist on John Walkers solo goal in the second period to put Flyers on the scoreboard.
